Last time they came to town (early 90s) it was a hot ticket. AA sold out weeks prior to game date and was a mad house throughout the game. Could have sold a couple thousand more i would have guessed. I also recall an article in the BG News after that game stating the north end of the arena could be removed and then reconfigured into an oval for more seating.
What happened to our program?

Lots of things happened. Dakich left and came back. Louis Orr got hired. Louis Orr got an extension. Stroh Center built. Louis Orr not fired. Lose to CMU at home in MAC Tournament. Louis Orr not fired. Greg Fundraiser claims "directionally" program is headed upward. All while the women's program won and won some more. Now, very few care. That would be my simple timeline.

Also, don't forget where Greg Fundraiser worked previously. Purdue defines middle of the road mediocrity. Same mentality here.

Yup. And Purdue never has had a problem filling their building, which there's is four times the capacity of ours.

BTW, with a year left on Coach Orr's contract if they are able to pull off the impossible tonight-that means another year of Orr Brand basketball at Bowling Green (meaning yes a win tonight saves him from being fired at the end of the season)

Mediocre within the Big Ten in most sports? Yes. Matta, Bielein, Crean, and Izzo will continue that. Danny Hope in football. Enough said.

Is this Orr's last year under contract, or does he have yet one more? I thought this was his final year.

To be fair Izzo takes his team on the road quite a bit. I saw them play here in Charleston at The Citadel when they were ranked #12 in 2009 (game did not sell out).

This year MSU has played at Miami (FL) and last year they played at Eastern Michigan, at Nebraska and at Gonzaga.
Yes, I shouldn't have said that. Now that I've thought about it more, MSU actually played a game at Cornell years ago, on their way to one of the events at MSG. I can't give them too much credit for Miami, that's part of the B1G-ACC Challenge. Forgot they played at EMU last year, shouldn't have because I remember watching it. Wouldn't Nebraska be a conference game if it happened last year? Or was it on the schedule already from when they were in the Big 12? I know that happened this year between Butler and Xavier, although they're both in the A10 now it was a non-conference game because it was scheduled when Butler was still in the Horizon League.

Per the book of face....standing room only mow on sale. I must assume then that all seats are sold?
