CMU Thread
Re: CMU Thread
Did Orr call a timeout we didn't have? Seems like a Louis Orr move.

Re: CMU Thread
There actually is a bright spot in this loss...Henderson started and contributed some offense. If he continues to do that, it will give us a third option to C&C...assuming they aren't having one of their occasional horrid shooting nights. Like Calhoun had going 3-10 from the floor last night.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.
Re: CMU Thread
Henderson did look good in the part I watched. Amazing, it took Orr 10+ games to give him significant minutes given how historically awful Kraus has been. But then again, it's Louis Orr so it is not that amazing. #FireOrr

Just an observation on our relevancy as shown in today's Detroit Free Press. My morning edition had the game article on page 4 of the Sports Section with the lead headline as "Randall leads CMU past Ball State, 73-67." The article itself did say BG. On second thought maybe that headline's not a bad thing.

EXACTLY! Clarke is very talented but needed PT to learn the college game, get confidence, and work out the kinks. Instead, Orr invested PT in DII guys like Kraus and Dee Brown, who anyone could plainly see were never going to make us winner. And now, what does Orr and the fans have to show for it? A home loss against a CMU in the MAC tourney last year, poor guard play this year, a 3-9 record, and Clarke is effectively still just a talented freshman.guest44 wrote:Orr wasted a scholarship on Rorie to get Clarke, and just wasted his first year and a half playing Kraus.
Louis Orr needs to go. The sooner, the better. Today. When Orr leaves, we'll see an immediate improvement in the program.

I don't think that is a relevancy issue, but a crappy sports editor issue.fredthefalcon wrote:Just an observation on our relevancy as shown in today's Detroit Free Press. For anyone who cares, Orr will be on All Bets Are Off at 3:30 on STO.

ROLL ALONG!!!
Re: CMU Thread
Poor Bruce Drennan. He won't conduct a more boring, less useful interview all year. Even money odds on "it's a marathon, not a sprint."

Ooh. Sounds like a drinking game. For every marathon statement or reference to god, you do a shot. Every time he shrugs his shoulders, do 2 shots.guest44 wrote:Poor Bruce Drennan. He won't conduct a more boring, less useful interview all year. Even money odds on "it's a marathon, not a sprint."

At that pace you would trashed in roughly a minute.
Re: CMU Thread
Hell you'd be doing a shot as soon as he opens his mouth because you know the first thing he says will be, "To god be the glory!"

Bruce Drennan is a tool who knows little to nothing about sports...particularly baseball. Mark my words, come March he'll be telling you that adding Swisher and Bauer were the moves the Tribe needed to make to catch Detroit.

Wow, NO "marathon/sprint" statements and ONLY three mentions of "god". Couldn't see him, so don't know about the shoulder shrugs!BleedOrange wrote:Ooh. Sounds like a drinking game.
