I think the team needs a new direction in leadership. But Louis Orr's comments about the season being a marathon are absoultely correct. Bash him for whatever else. October was an eternity ago and March is still a long way off. One of the biggest influences in my life, Skip Prosser, used to say at every turn, "A season is a lifetime." If you think a college basketball season in 2013 is quick, you're not paying attention.

Bruce Drennan is a tool who knows little to nothing about sports...particularly baseball. Mark my words, come March he'll be telling you that adding Swisher and Bauer were the moves the Tribe needed to make to catch Detroit.

Agree he is a tool. Add football to that list. Back in 1994, Drennan had a radio call in show in Cleveland. The Steelers beat the Browns in the playoffs for the 3rd time that year. Drennan came on his show and stated that even though the Browns last 3 games to the Steelers that year, they were still a better team. I called in to get his justification and he hung up on me. I tried to call back in and refused to put me on the air. He never found out what I was going to even say.

As a kid, we used to get channel 43 on our cable. He used to do the Indians gme with Joe Tait. He sucks at that as well. Joe Tait deserved a much better partner.
