Even the announcers were saying that. They said the hit that a MI player laid on us later should have also been boarding if Tate's was. Glad they're not too biased or this would be a long game.
Anyone see the intentional elbow to the head....intent to injure? Game Misconduct? Nah, two minutes seems about right.
I was sitting near the team bench on that end of the ice and saw it. Trouba should have been kicked out for that INTENTIONAL elbow AND suspended a game!! Mohler was REALLY hurting as he came back to the bench and then left the ice shortly after that. He did not return.
That guy's a POS. Watched the replay this morning and he threw an elbow at another player seconds before he hit Mohler. But listening to the BTN guys, it must have been okay, he was probably just tired.

Funny to see the commentary change from "little BG can only hope to compete in this one" to "well, Michigan has had injuries and a break and they're tired and..." Eff 'em. Roll along.
Actually, the BTN guys said it should've been more than 2. They also didn't see anything wrong with Tate's hit. For college games, they were actually some of the better "neutral" commentators I've seen. Then again, when your team is getting it's azz kicked, you should probably give the other team a little respect .

My bad. You're right on that. Their commentary on the penalties was about the only thing I agreed with much of the night, at least until they started to give our program props when we had things put away.

Can the CCHA review the tape and hand out a suspension for the elbow?

Yes. I honestly don't expect anything to come of it though. First, it's Michigan. Second, Treais had to sit out the game because of a hit to the head during the GLI. Third, it's Michigan and they REALLY suck this year (so far).

Great video replay of the goals at Yost:

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Thanks. Honestly didn't know whether they could do anything post-game - but even as I asked the question, I figured if they could, it's Michigan, so they won't do anything.
I still couldn't believe that penalty. Camera angle on that was looking at the same angle the referee had. Don't know how you miss that elbow as intentional and only give 2 minutes.

Hopefully Mohler is doing ok.

On to the next game!!! BEAT NOTRE DAME!!!
