I know what you mean but "pumped" to go to Starkville, Mississippi? Yikes do they know its 2013 down there yet?

I don't get many games that are within driving distance and it it is a pretty campus FYI.

I was just in Starkville last March and I would say Mississippi State's campus was so-so. Both Oxford and Ole Miss blew Starkville and MSU away. MSU is going to be expanding their football stadium so it might be under construction when we are playing down there, but one thing I liked about the current setup is almost all of the seats are on the sidelines (two grandstands with upper decks). The upper decks really shoot you into the sky for a mid-sized capacity stadium but offer a heck of a view. And the video board in the south end zone was huge. And for anyone who loves BBQ, if you go to the game next year, be sure and hit the Little Dooey. And don't be scared away from its appearance. It looks like an old shacky house (which it is) and sits on a sleepy street corner across from a cemetery, but it's damn good!

Judging by the dates of our non-conference schedule, we could be playing a MAC contest in week two on September 7th.

I have a wedding to attend Sat the 7th...might have a couple tix needing used.

According to www.fbschedules.com, the only other MAC team that doesn't have a game Sept 7th is Kent State. With that wedding I have to go to, this would bite since KSU is a 20 min drive. For selfish reasons, I'm hoping we have a bye on 9/7.
