Kicker Commit?

Post by Rollo83 »

Has anyone metioned that Rivals has us with a verbal from a kicker? Joe Davidson from Findlay. He's 6' 7"...another "big bird?"

He verbaled end some time ago but there was nothing on any of the recruiting services. He was a wide receiver/db in addition to punting in high school and also plays basketball. His brother plays at UT and his dad played at OSU and is an orthopedic surgeon in Findlay, if I remember correctly. I saw him play 2-3 times last season and think it is a nice "get" for us

Clawson seems to recruit for the season after the next one....we took a LS last year to get him in the progrm for a year, signing a punter this year when we have a SR already. I guess you can do that when you're keeping more than 50% of your recruits year over year... :)
