Fred Smerlas, the former nose tackle for the Bills, also has referenced Phil V on his radio show on 1180 WHAM in Rochester.

Martin Bayless got some good face time on the sidelines of the Senior Bowl as part of the Oakland Raiders coaching staff.

Fred is a real character. Of course, so is the usual host, Bob Matthews.

I didn't know Bayless was coaching. Interesting...
