Good job, men!
I couldn't read what Johnson was thinking after the third goal. He sat there, with his pads together for a coupld seconds. Was he disgusted that he let the puck go in? Did he have any idea where the puck was? Did he think the puck was savely between his legs?
So here's my prediction: No losses for the remainder of the season. :^)

ND has played 4 games in 8 days, going 1-3 in that span. We are now tied with MSU and UM for 8th in the league. One of ND's losses was to MSU by a score of 4-1 (Minnesota and BG are the other 2). Michigan is a similar story. Neither team is playing anywhere near their talent level. Is it BG "turning the corner," or is it taking advantage of some (potentially) good teams who've fallen on hard times? Only time will tell, but 9 goals in two games is definitely a BIG step in the right direction.
No matter what it is, it's time to celebrate tonight's victory then get back to work preparing for this weekend. It's not going to get any easier.

I never doubted this team, just like I never doubted the team we had last year. Last year, they made a fantastic playoff run to prove they could play with the best teams. That is rolling over into this year. Maybe we had a rough start, but we are proving that we have a team that can win hockey games. All I can say is thank you to everyone who went to the game tonight. The crowd was by far, the best crowd I have seen this season. Not to mention, everyone was actually getting into the game and cheering on our team to victory. From a Bleacher Creatures standpoint, it was amazing that we could all come together and cheer for our Falcons. I hope we can keep this kind of atmosphere going at our home hockey games. As usual, please "Like" our Facebook page, and if you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please shoot them our way. We really do want to help, and I honestly believe that we are starting to impact home hockey games and bring back our home-ice advantage.
