The greatest feeling in the world was to see Western Michagan just quit. After we killed off both penalties, we just dominated, and their players slowed down and looked like they had no desire to win. After the penalties, they had around two minutes of 6 on 5 with their goalie pulled, but they looked defeated once our players were out of the box. Also, I am really, really glad to see people saying it felt like the "good old days of Falcon Hockey." That is what everyone wants to see come back, and game by game, it is coming back. It never was going to happen all at once, but it is at the point that everyone can see the results in the crowd, and the player can see (hear) it too. Such a great feeling after the game, and I know we can do it again tonight in their house!

Largest crowd of the season for a WMU home game. Another note, BG has not swept a Fri/Sat series from a CCHA opponent in 5 years. Last 2 game sweep, exactly 5 years ago, Jan 18/19 against none other, WMU.

I sure hope someone can keep this thread updated for tonight's game. I have an event that I can't listen to the game.

You can listen to it through the TuneIn radio app. It didn't work earlier in the season, but it does now. I just checked it on my phone and it DOES work.

I'm watching the online video feed. Bought the feed from Western and hooked the laptop up to the big screen.

GO FALCONS!!
BEAT 'EM AGAIN!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

BG had a 2-1 breakaway. But WMU caught up to stop the BG opportunity but WMU gets called for a penalty.

BG ends the period on the PP
