I do believe a fairly strong architectural line can be drawn between the Moore Musical Arts Center, the Student Recreation Center, the Perry Field House and the Sebo Center.BGDrew wrote:No offense, but it's not like any buildings really match on campus. Old Campus may be the only group of buildings which look remotely similar. The stadium is a part of campus all it's own, so what they do with it doesn't neccessarily need to "match" the rest of campus.
I also tend to believe that BGSU's newer buildings do more to define us architecturally than does Old Campus, as cohesive and traditional as it might be.
And I don't think the relative youth of our architecture is anything to be ashamed of. The Jerome Library is a fantastic, landmark building, one that rises far above the common late-60s mistake of an enormous, little-used concrete plaza.
