Last and final shot at a road win this season

Post by BGSU33 »

I think this is it for us to avoid going winless on the road with this NIU game. No way we're beating Ohio or Akron, and very doubtful at Kent State. I have no idea who the Bracket Buster opponent will be, but since it's away, doubtful there too. This is probably our last shot.

Kent State is not very good this year...we are capable of beating them. We're also capable of losing by a dozen. That's why this team is so frustrating.

Well it will be nice to let the guys stay in BG and go to class then. No need to head to Athens, Akron, or Kent. Just chalk up three losses without even trying. ](*,)

Since NIU's classic in Ypsilanti, they've beaten Kent at home and played Toledo even for 37.5 minutes at home.

So, the key to winning games is to play teams that cannot score points, and then, score more than them.

Believe it or not - Bowling Green is currently the 5th seed if the tournament started today. 6 teams are behind us in the standings and of course the Rockets are not able to attend this year's tournament. Here are the top 5 seeds"

Akron 9-0
Ohio 7-1
Western 7-2
Eastern 4-4
Bowling Green 4-5

rest of league 3-6 or 2 -7

Eastern and Ohio need to still make up a game that was cancelled last week.

Just making a point to those that are unhappy that it always could be worse.

Things are worse. Every game we win is another piece of ammo that the Clueless Fundraising Clown can use to keep his inept Head Men's Basketball Coach for another year. By Orr winning actually keeps digging the future of this program deeper and deeper into the ground. Orrs gonna be around for another year and just put the final dagger in this program. Thank you Louis Orr for absolutely destroying this program and its fan base. With God be the Glory.........

I see Greg Christopher is not well liked by some people on this board and it is really strange. The coaches he's hired for football, women's basketball, hockey, and volleyball all seem to have worked out. At least each of them has popular support right now. Men's basketball has certainly not been as good.

I also love the notion that winning hurts the program. It is a perspective from way deep down the rabbit hole. I hope Louis Orr, or anyone who coaches this team, wins as many games as possible.

It could be worse. For sure. Worse will be next year. 7-13 vs. D-1, with 4 seniors in your coaches 6th season. Yes it could be worse, and next year we will see worse. It could be worse, we could be Northern Illinois. We could draw 500 people per game, and be 0-7 vs. coaches like Louis Orr. How about be try for better than claiming a road win before February? How about we try for a winning non-conference season? It will be 2050 before BG sees the NCAA Tournament if we keep telling ourselves, it could always be worse.

Swimming, too. Just not fair to peg him as just a fundraiser.

He cut baseball scholarships....he's gotta go!! :) If we're going to be redoing the Doyt, I want the money guy driving the bus. We let the facilities go for so long here....it's nothing short of shameful.

Re men's basketball....two straight wins, we're on a roll heading towards March!!!
