Seriously, I live 5 miles from campus and if it weren't for athletics I'd have no connection whatsoever with BGSU. I loved my time there, I got a great education, but with no athletics? I wouldn't be buying much (if any) BG merchandise, I wouldn't be coming back to campus at all, and I most certainly wouldn't be inclined to donate money when they call to ask me.
