Recruit decommits

Post by rood »

According Heisenberg's recruiting blog highly rated recruit Thomas Ebbing has changed his college commitment from Bowling Green to Michigan State. I have no idea if this was his idea or our coaching staff's.
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

It was his decision. He decommited a month or so ago. Word is, a friend (Mackenzie MacEachern) committed to play at MSU and he is following his friend there. BG is losing a good player. Sweep Sparty!

That's disappointing to hear, but his loss. I also think those two kids played high school hockey together in the Detroit area.

This is always a risk when a kid commits so early.
Bottom line, if he doesn't want to be here, we don't want him.

Thomas and Mac have been line-mates since they could walk. Travel hockey, up into high school winning the state championship together and now in the USHL. I know both of them very well and played against them up until last year in high school. Tough loss b/c he is a very good player. Who cares though, we will beat MSU again tonight. Go BG

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
