Unger got a 2 minute plus a 10 minute for god knows what. Don't know if he has to sit out the next game or not

Game over. BG wins their 12th game. 1 more win than last year. Stay in 5th place in the CCHA. Way to go Falcons. Now on to Ferris State for another sweep.

I made the trip to South Bend tonight, good effort by the team. Unger didnt swing at the goalie, it was an elbow after he received a punch from an ND player behind the net. Unger had been receiving cheap shots the whole weekend plus it gets ND back for flat out running big Siggy over behind the net earlier in the game.

Fun game tonight! The Unger call was hard to tell, since it happened behind the play and we (at least in my area) were all looking at an OBVIOUS offsides that wasn't called and an OBVIOUS "contact to the head high stick" that knocked Mazzei down that also wasn't called.

The ND goalie Cey was horrible, but wasn't getting much help. I think it was 5 goals on 18 shots or something like that. The little goalie, Walsh, I think did a pretty good job.

The run on Morrison and Big Siggy was disgusting and I can't believe it wasn't called for more than a 2 minute minor, but that's Ref Wilkins for you...

All in all great games this weekend!

The unger thing was messed up. The goalie whoever it was, used the butt of his stick to hit unger in the chest, i'm sure James did something to make the goalie do that but i didn't see how it started. Then unger pushed the goalie from what i saw... not hard... the goalie put on a show for the crowd and got the call. Doesn't matter now, good win guys!!

"and it's against Notre Dame"? Although ND had a NCAA tourney entry last year, they have never been a "Powerhouse" in the CCHA and they are currently in last place in the CCHA with a whopping 3 wins!

A sweep is great, but it makes absolutely NO DIFFERENCE that it was against ND as opposed to our sweep of UAF 3 weeks ago! A sweep is a sweep! 4 points are 4 points!
