Not sure if anyone watched the Senior Bowl today. I caught the last quarter and I was really impressed by Charlie Frye. 10-12 for over 130 yards and 1TD. North team scored on all 3 drives he instructed. Looks like another MAC QB will making a mark within the next few years in the NFL
Pennington
Leftwich
Roethlisberger
Harris
Frye
Jacobs (2007)
This conference is really starting to develop some fine QBs

Do you have a link!? I subscribe to insider services for the NFL and heard the exact opposite. The consensus was that he was clearly the best QB at the senior bowl and would almost certainly be the first Senior taken. The reports I read all said that he made good, quick reads, and was delivering an accurate ball all week. He did suffer some minor mechanical problems and struggled with the deep ball. Still he was the best of all the QBs there.orangeandbrown wrote:That's good for him. I read on ESPN that he had a horrid week of practice, so I'm glad he pulled it together for the game.
Charlie will play in the NFL. He will start. He is light years ahead of where Josh was at this time, and he's real close to Roethlisberger. He won't have that immediate success because he won't start behind the best OL in the NFL. Still, he is the next great MAC QB.
