I just want to applaud this thread. It's one of the better "game" threads we've had on this site in a while. And no, I'm not being sarcastic.

I don't think so, just another Orr benching of someone way too late in there career to have any real impact. Ya, know like when he chose Michigan St. rather the Samford as the game to try to get through to Crawford. No leadership from the top, no leadership on the floor.

At least one of the most positive when relating in the Men's Baskeball category.

As for Silver Lingings Playbook it was a tense movie and makes you feel uncomfortable at times, but also a number of LOL funny moments which made it worthwhile. Don't have to overthink it, and a nice tie-in to sports and how families use sports to connect. The acting was really good by all involved too. I'm not a critic, but it was noticeably good.

Saw it twice back when it first came out and loved it. Helluva lot better than watching this team play on most nights, that's for sure.

In the postgame, it was said that Calhoun was benched for not following orders. Apparently he was told to take the ball into the post and not shoot jumpers.

Less than a half dozen games left in Calhoun's four-year career and Lou is now taking this opportunity to teach him something?

Ya, it's not fun to play on the inside when nobody on the outside can makes shots, and your 2 guard can't create anything. Also, you play beside a stiff post player who just sets up double teams. Notice both seniors have been benched at some point this season. I would guess it gets tiresome carrying D2 level talent.
