Ferris pulled their goalie. Why?? Did they need 3 points? I guess it was the difference between home ice for Ferris in Round 2

Michigan won the shootout. Their announcers were saying they are hosting BG.

Michigan ends up with 36 points, one more than Lake State. So we should end up at Lake State as it would be 8 vs. 9.

Hey, we start once again in the UP. It's been good to us before..... Yes I would have liked a home playoff game too, but I'll take a couple at the Joe.

Falcons have enough trouble winning let only backed into a corner and winning on the road against a nationally ranked team.

This should have been wraped up last weekend. Winning at NOtre Dame shouldn't of been required. Losing Friday at home against Northern Michigan was the straw on the camels back that killed us. This weekend was no surprise that they swept us, but controlling your own destiny and laying an egg last friday night at home against northern sealed our fate.

Should have swept last place MSU, too. :?

But as much as I wanted to have more home games, I am honestly more disppointed that Hammond will not get to play in front of his home crowd again...ever. Not being able to see him play on Senior night after all he did for this program the last four years, was sad. I wanted him to hear that loud, full arena cheer for him again.

GO FALCONS!!
SWEEP THE LAKERS!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

You can look back at the entire season, especially before Christmas, and count a number of missed opportunities to earn three points.

The 4 games that stand out to me (lost opportunity-wise) were:
Oct 26 vs Ohio State
Nov 16-17 vs Ferris...should have won at least one of those
Feb 9 at Michigan State
