"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

It'd be even better if the playoff trophies arrive home with the team

I'd be intereted in knowing how many other schools turned this down in order for us to say yes. Can't believe we were the first choice given the new venues out their and what we have been doing the last decade.

“Bowling Green, as an original charter member of the CCHA, has volunteered to do that,” Pletsch said. “Their plan is to create a CCHA display.”
It says we volunteered to house so maybe no other schools were asked since we volunteered, just going off what the article said. If other schools were asked I don't know why they would turn it down, being in the CCHA is apart of their history just like it is ours

Why not in BG? We have been in the CCHA since the beginning. Longer than Michigan, Notre Dame, and most others. BG is the best place for it.

Go Falcons! Sink the Lakers!

Charter member of the league and we actually tried saving it instead of destroying it, sounds like its being housed in the right place to me, granted I'm biased :-D

According to Wikipedia, we are the only school that has been a member of the CCHA continuously since the beginning.

I think we've seen how much those other schools care about the CCHA. Fuggem. :finga:

I'm thinking it'd just be appropriate for the CCHA's Rainy Day fund to come with it all. Afterall, BG was the last CCHA member.
