After what BG has gone through the past decade, I am confident in saying we are back after last year's playoff run and the season we had this year. We could have easily been #5 seed if we didn't slip up a few games. The product is better. Fans are more involved. BG hockey is back. Sure we have improvements to make but we got the staff and players to move forward. Recruiting is also on the rise. Go Falcons

Let's pull for a MSU win tonight so we can play Notre Dame next weekend. Personally I think we matchup better against Notre then against Miami.

A part of me wants us to go to Miaudi----remembering back to last year when we went to FSU ----#1 seed and abruptly ender their playoff run. How sweet it would/will be!!!

What a performance from our guys! I wouldn't have expected this game to get totally out of hand like this. How embarrassing for Lake State.

This is great. We've reached the round of 8 for the 4th straight year now...and who knows, we're going to be riding a ton of momentum going into the next round, whomever it is against. I guess we won't know until the outcome of the MSU-Alaska contest.

Are we where we want to be? No. Not really that close actually.

Do we have a long way to go? Yep.

Do we celebrate a 9 seed and a road win over an 8? Not really. We are glad to win but not celebrating.

But your description is exactly right. The program is back. BACK! Tremendous improvement and excitement.

Very proud of this team and coaching staff. And all the folks that helped get us to this point in hockey. That includes a lot of people at BGSU, in the community and in the "world" of BGSU hockey. Let's keep going.
