At least that would be something to actually look forward to, and the best news around this program (or lacktherof) in years.

Yep. Greg Fundraiser can do the right thing and fire the ENTIRE staff by midnight. However, I guess it goes like this, one of us won't be going to men's basketball next year. I hope it's not me.

The ball is in Dr Mazey's court. Clean it out from the top down.

Well, Clawson and Bergeron have proven to be great hires. But, if Orr isn't gone you do have to begin questioning what exactly is going on.factman wrote:The ball is in Dr Mazey's court. Clean it out from the top down.
I hope it's not Mazey and the board saying they can't eat the contract.

Maybe Orr will have the sense to step down voluntarily.

He said his job status in his the hands of God in the post game presser. Hopefully, God tells him to just give it up.

I won't be renewing my men's basketball tickets next year if Louis Orr is still coach. And I won't be giving any more money to the Falcon Club until a change is made for the better.

Which is proof G-d has enough stuff to worry about and that he could give a rats ass about sports. Thus, I don't believe G-d would have hired him in the first place - i like to think G-d would've hired a champion. But that's obviously just an assumption.

Christopher's not going anywhere. Might as well stop mentioning it every time you post.factman wrote:The ball is in Dr Mazey's court. Clean it out from the top down.

I'm not saying he's good, & I'm not saying he's bad. I'm just saying he is NOT going anywhere.Globetrotter wrote:Im not sure Christopher is all that great but he had solid hires in Hockey and Football. 2 out of 3 aint bad.

His job status is NOT in God's hands. If God exists, it doesn't give a s**t. His job status is in the university's hands. His job status could have been in his OWN hands all along. Instead of passively deferring to some imaginary friend, he could have taken a more active, direct approach to his career and program. Instead of depending on the willingness of his sky fairy, he could have taken proactive responsibility for his own fate and made things happen. At some point, he must ask himself about the difference between "faith" and merely "wishing". At what point is all this God talk reflective of lazily copping out?guest44 wrote:He said his job status in his the hands of God in the post game presser. Hopefully, God tells him to just give it up.
