All-CCHA Team

Post by jpfalcon09 »

Four Falcons make the list, tops for any team in the conference over its history.

First team: George McPhee
Second team: Nelson Emerson, Ken Morrow
Goaltender: Mike Liut

Full list:

Ugh, don't get me started (again) on Kip Miller vs. Nelson Emerson.
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

He only played one year at BG before going to play for the Kings. A majority of these players played 4 years for their respective CCHA teams. Blake would be on there if it was based on talent alone I'm sure.

Um, he played 3 years for BG. He left after his junior year.

Perhaps you should read the whole thread before you respond! That fact has already been established, man!

It's easy for us Falcon fans to see the world through orange-tinted glasses.
Especially for those who have not been around for the entire history of the CCHA.
The simple facts are these:
1. There have been many GREAT players in the CCHA over it's 40some year history.
2. Not all of those players (or even MOST of them) wore orange and brown.
3. There's not one single player on that "all-time" list that doesn't deserve to be there.

Oh, stop using logic here! Pissing and moaning is what most do best on AZZ. I might have to start calling you Flipper.... :-D

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
