So what that she went 22-10 in her first year as the head coach?
Who cares that BG won 20+ games for the tenth straight season?
Injuries? If she hadn't worked the kids so hard (or had only worked them harder and made them ready for more physical play), injuries wouldn't have been a concern.
Give her one more year. ONE MORE. Next year -
No 30 win season - FIRE HER!
No MAC East Title - FIRE HER!
No MAC Tournament Title - FIRE HER!
No NCAA Appearance - FIRE HER!
No Sweet 16 Appearance - FIRE HER!
No National Championship - FIRE HER!
We're BGSU! We're NO LONGER going to settle for anything shy of perfection. You can't produce, you're out of here. If she can't do it in two years, then she'll never be able to do it in three years! FIRE HER! Raise the price of tickets to cover her buyout. Raise the price of parking to cover her buyout. But we should not allow this type of MEDIOCRITY to infect our team.
Next thing you'll be saying is "Well look at the number of players that have graduated from the program since she was a part of it." You bleeding hearts. You all need to go up north to that other state and sing Kumbaya with Flipper. Everyone knows Kevin Eckert was responsible for that awesome graduation rate!
transfer at his best, love it
Lets also remember that Coach Roos is following a legend, one of the greatest coaches in the history of MAC women's basketball. Its never easy following a legend. There is a reason the saying is you always want to follow the person that follows the legend
Am I missing something? I don't see anyone calling for Roos's head. I see people who are disappointed with the finish... but unless I missed a post, I don't think anybody actually said they want Roos fired.

A few made there way over from the men's forum and took a second out of their wanting GC and Orr fired time to say Roos should be fired because of what happened with Ali Mann. Wasn't in this thread but there were a few saying she should be else where in this forum
That's what I gathered too. While what happened with Mann was extremely bad and wrong, no way Roos knew about it. I guess there's always a chance she did, but as the HC, she has to do everything she can to protect the players and follow the rules. She wouldn't have let it go on (and not report anything) IF she knew about it before the players came to her.
What? The Ali Mann thing is brought up again? Let's talk about Toledo. Is Naama related to Jordon Crawford? It did my heart good to see her stuffed in the last play and badly miss the jumper prior to that. Geeze she gets away with a lot of stuff.
If I saw correctly, Abby Siefker plays on STO at 5 on Saturday, assuming Ottoville is in the finals. Oops, they have a game today at 3:00 to play and win first. Go Ottoville! Go Abby!
HoopsFan - I only said what I said because someone else brought it up. My attempt to put it at rest. There were a few posters that came from the men's forum...
Come to think of it, who was the guy that always had old pictures in his sig? The one that had Golds there for maybe two years after she graduated? I don't think I've seen posts from him this year.

While BG didn't win the MAC this year, to say 22-10 is a horrible year is nuts. This was our worst record in a decade. That's like saying Boise State going 10-3 in football is their worst year in a decade.
Coach Roos will have this team back at the top...
