Congrats Coach Larranaga

First Conference Championship for Miami in school history

First time since 1970s that Duke or UNC hasn't won the regular season or conference tournament.

Congrats

Congrats

I second that. I was a student assistant for him when he was at BG and got to know him pretty well. For the most part, very fun teams to watch with good players when he was here....light years away from what we have now. Very happy for him.

Awesome! He was and is a quality individual. I loved watching his teams play...you know, when Fran Voll's teams weren't playing.

Congrats, coach!

Ya know, between Weinert's coat, Larranaga's whistle, Dakich's colorful language and this present guy, we've had some characters for coaches :-)

I can also whistle like Coach L and I remember during a practice drill on his "Scramble Defense" I decided to do it. The players sure got a kick out of it but Coach L didn't seem as amused and shot me a look. That was the first and last time I did that. LOL

Coach L is a good man. I knew him when he was at BG. I'm rooting hard for the Hurricanes.

Since they compare Ali to Coach L, it gives new understanding to White Men Can't Dance :-)

If we ever MAKE it to the NCAA's, let alone the sweet 16, I'll be signing up for Arthur Murray classes.
