CCHA Championships

Post by pdt1081 »

With what seems like an overabundance of glitter and polish added to their helmets, Notre Dame beat OSU 3-1 in the first game. Miami and UM are getting ready to start now.

Can you imagine those helmets going against Michigan's piss-yellow jerseys tomorrow? Bleah.
I love people who can laugh at themselves. It saves me the effort.

As much as I dislike Miami, I really want the NCAA appearance streak ended.

And 3 goals in about 5 minutes puts Michigan up 4-0 with 8 minutes left in the second. Miami looks totally unprepared for this game.

After a 5-2 win over Miami, it will be Michigan VS Notre Dame for the final CCHA Championship. :vom:

Those helmets are even uglier in person! :smt078
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

With 4:00 left n the third, it's 2-1 Notre Dame. They're just sitting back and letting Michigan come to them right now. Playing good defense, but if Michigan happens to score, I think another one will quickly follow.

And Notre Dame catches Michigan pulling the goalie and scores to make it 3-1 with less than a minute left.

And that's the final score. Despite Michigan showing their true class trying to muck it up with 10 seconds left in play.

Now it's time to wait and see who The Committee decides to put in Toledo. Projections after last night had both Notre Dame and Miami there if Notre Dame won.
