I'm still laughing about UT coach Tricia Screwup, who never misses a chance to talk about her team as a family and how much she loves her situation, interviewing with Ohio State and getting rejected by them.

Didn't Miller do the same? Except Indiana is a bottom feeder and OSU pays top dollar and has won half of the B10 titles in the last decade.
While I don't begrudge Coach Cullop's idea of "moving up" at all (she's a super coach), there is no comparison between the scenarios during Coach Miller's career/IU job and the very serious flirtation with OSU by Coach Cullop. Coach Miller didn't spend considerable talking family, community support, love of school etc, sign a long extension with a pay increase- and then get in his car to go interview at a Big Ten school. If McGuff turned down OSU, then they turn to Coach Cullop. So she is spending time interviewing for jobs immediately- literally immediately- after signing her extension and proclaiming her tremendous love for UT and its fans.
And she would have walked away in five minutes had McGuff not taken that job. After all the statements. I understand why she would walk away. OSU would have been a great job for her. But you have to wonder- even with a head coach who has not coached in an NCAA game- just how future recruits view such conduct/action. Some stability is important in all sports especially in women's bball in my opinion.
Miller examined some other opportunities over the years always carefully handled until an opportunity at what could be termed the sleeping giant that is IU women's basketball came up. He was upfront about the interview, accepted, spoke to our team, left. And still supports BG. Maybe we can get the home and away going after all the players turn over and it would make sense.
Coach Miller went 9-21 and 11-16 his first two years at BG...and then the volcano erupted and covered the MAC for a decade under the BG lava...he'll get IU on track. He is one hell of a coach. So is Cullop...
