Nice article on the Bring Back the Glory campaign
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Okay, but has the fund-raising goal been reached? $4 million, right?
Re: Nice article on the Bring Back the Glory campaign
I don't believe they quite reached their goal (close but not quite). When I gave money toward the end of last year I asked that question (because they told me they were ending the funding drive) -- and was told they had come close enough with some more funding still expected.BG84 wrote:Okay, but has the fund-raising goal been reached? $4 million, right?
Not quite sure what all that meant, but I'm sure someone on here probably has a better idea of how much has actually been raised and what else might need to be done to assure the program's long-term stability.
