....a proposal for a league-wide media package was presented to the group, one that would put all of the teams' games online for free every Friday and Saturday night.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second." ~~USCHO Poster "BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got." ~~USCHO Poster, AFTER Tech beat us #NeverGiveUp

I would hope, or find it to be a good opportunity for Athletic Dept to partner with the communication dept and really try to make a quality product. investing in a couple HD cameras, tying in the wbgu audio feed for play by play, and making it an opportunity for aspiring producers and camera operators, mixers etc.
placement of three hd fixed cams in the ceiling above center ice, each goal, plus three operated cams, focused on following play from the press box side at each zone would be ideal, using one to cover wbgu personalities and guests between periods. Looking at this as a steaming web application hd camcorders can carry some of the load in lu of high end expensive cameras, as long as the camcorders stay in optical zoom, since digital zoom and streaming apps get bit-mapped quite a bit
however they choose to produce Im sure will be fine, thats just my thought.
