Is Ted OK?
Is Ted OK?
This is awesome. If the SIDs are going to have too much time on their hands, at least they're using it to amuse the masses.

Freakin' Hilarious!!! LOVED IT!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Joe schad tweeted this out
great marketing
Re: Is Ted OK?
Better career at QB: Dave Meyer or Austin Dantin?
Re: Is Ted OK?
Incidentally, how the heck is making the Military Bowl only the tenth top BG sports story of the year? In what world/alternate reality is that the case?
Re: Is Ted OK?
Nice! I loved the blood type written on his helmet
Is Ted taking over jersey #93 this year, or was that just a tribute to Jones?

I liked the blood type on the helmet as well!
ROLL ALONG!!!
Re: Is Ted OK?
My gut instinct is Chris Jones and/or the BG D will be the number 1 or 2 or so story ...mscarn wrote:Incidentally, how the heck is making the Military Bowl only the tenth top BG sports story of the year? In what world/alternate reality is that the case?

We did have at least two teams reach the NCAAs and I believe two or three All-Americans. 10th still seems a little low, if it's a true "ranking" system, but there were several very big stories around BG. If we'd won the Military Bowl, it would probably be a different story.MarkL wrote:My gut instinct is Chris Jones and/or the BG D will be the number 1 or 2 or so story ...mscarn wrote:Incidentally, how the heck is making the Military Bowl only the tenth top BG sports story of the year? Pretty cool how much press this has gotten! Didn't see it, but heard it was on the front page of ESPN.com and that is publicity for BGSU Football that you can't buy!

Re: Is Ted OK?
Yeah I would expect the top 4 to be Chris Jones, Brooke Pleger, volleyball making the NCAAs, and baseball making the NCAAs. Don't sure what the actually order will be but I would be shocked if those weren't the top 4. I also agree winning the Military probably moves it up a few spots from 10TG1996 wrote:We did have at least two teams reach the NCAAs and I believe two or three All-Americans. 10th still seems a little low, if it's a true "ranking" system, but there were several very big stories around BG. Re: Is Ted OK?
Cincy, your top 4 are identical to mine. Not sure what order. I wouldn't be surprised if 5 and 6 are the APR reports and the new AD Kingston.

Oops....brain fart! For some reason I had it in my head that Ted had previously worn #92. Maybe he wore that in an earlier season, prior to last year, or maybe I just over indulged in those hallucinogenic mushrooms?footballguy51 wrote:Jones was 91.Beaker wrote:Nice!
