EMU President Sue Martin, best known for being reprimanded publicly by her own Board of Trustees over alcohol issues, must have gone back on the sause for this one. They hired Heather Lyke (formerly Heather Lyke-Catalano, formerly Jan Levinson-Gould) as their new athletic director.

She is best known for being "reassinged" from her position overseeing compliance (ha!) at Ohio State.

The MGoBlog folks were saying (possibly with a hint of sarcasm) that she is likely early in line to replace Gene Smith whenever he retires ... or Urban Meyer fires him.
