I don't really understand why we take such offense to this. It's not like he or someone else who says it is being condescending because they say MAC Conference. Pay attention sometime and you'll hear announcers say ACC conference and SEC conference too. He said it wrong. It's an error and nothing more.

I agree. People do that stuff all the time but I don't think there's any intent to smackdown the conference. Granted, coaches and announcers definitely should know better and not make that mistake, but I'm always hearing people say "ATM Machine" and "VIN Number", and I don't think they intend any ill will towards banks or vehicles.kdog27 wrote:I don't really understand why we take such offense to this.
