The Falcons continue to add talent for next year....
Marlon Tyree - 6'2, 185 S from Erie Cathedral Prep. (Pa.)

Jered Wyler - 6'5", 266 OT from Centerville, near Dayton

This put us into the 15-16 range in verbals for next year. Only "negative" so far is that few of these kids are rated highly by the recruiting sites.... WMU has something like 14 - 3star rated kids....we have 2-3 so far... I know the ratings don't mean much now, and it's probably harder to rate linemen and LB's than skill players.
But, again, I'm surprised at the total numbers of verbals so far...I can't remember ever seeing this many kids commit this early. Talking with my son, a head Lacrosse coach at Hudson HS, he said football is just now "catching up" with other sports in terms of earlier contacts and offers... he said most schools are looking HARD at SOPH. season results where it used to be analyze Jr. years 1st.
Good example of this.... kid from St. Ignatius in Cleve. has been offered by OSU, and he's going into his Soph yr. and has NEVER played a down of JV, much less varsity...but he looked good at a camp and now has a major D-1 offer.

Interesting side note....Tyree does NOT show up as a verbal to BG on ANY of the recruiting sites...Wondered if we'd given out our "quota" of DB/S/CB scholarships prior to his announcement...Or did he have a change of heart?

According to Twitter he is still committed but he hasn't posted since the commitment. Scout does not have him in their database at all. Odd. :-k
