More info on the Cancun event, stateside games are at Wisconsin and St. Louis, first game in Mexico against Presbyterian
The Vitto Brown angle will be interesting for the Wisconsin game. The coach at St. Louis, Jim Crews, was the coach fired at Army by their then-AD Kevin Anderson and Chris Kingston led the search for his replacement.

Given that this game is so early in his freshman season, I would have to doubt that Vitto would get much playing time, except the last 10 minutes or so of this blowout. (Unless he redshirts, then he won't play at all  )

Per the ST: As part of its non-league schedule, Bowling Green is playing at Wright State and Morehead State, and has home games with North Dakota and South Florida.

Not surprised by those first three since those are all return games from last year (except for Morehead since that is a bracket buster return game from two years ago). Didn't think South Florida was going to be a home and home but glad to see it is. May see IPFW at home as well, with the bracket buster series ending I thought I read return games for last season had to be this season, we'll see.

Looks like a 7th straight losing non-conference season to me.

Yep...and the season should be over by March 15th...about the time the buzzards return to NW Ohio.

This time of year I like going around to different schools website to see if they have released their men's or women's basketball schedules and if BG is on them, mostly conferences in our region and opponents on the schedule from the previous year. So far for men's I have found all the games already listed in this post along with one other that isn't listed: Detroit - home on 12/22

We had USF last year and let them finish the win. It sure would be nice to knock off a Big East/AAC team this year, even if it is USF.

Last year the schedule was released on August 29th. I would image we should expect to see something along those lines again this year with something announced in the next week or so.

Brace yourself Falcons fans. As if last year's season opener vs Lake Erie wasn't good enough: http://www.goearlham.com/schedule.aspx?path=mbball I thought it might be our exhibition game but it appears to be our opener. They went 4-21 last year in D-III. We got pushed all game by Lake Erie last year, could we be looking at a game decided at the buzzer this year? Ahhhh, BG basketball, what have you become....

Awesome. Similar to Lake Erie and Samford last year, these games are all about your expectations as a fan. Treat it as if it's a 2 hour comedy show, and enjoy.

No matter how good or bad or how relevant or irrelevant this program is when Louis Orr is gone I don't see this trend ending. In looking at schools in mid-major and low major conferences that have released their schedules a majority of them have a non-D1 school on them as a home game, including the only two MAC schools I have found with released schedules (Kent and Western). Hell of all the schools we already know we play that have released schedules the only ones not playing a non-D1 school are the power conference schools (Wisconsin, Xavier, and South Florida). Much like MAC schools hosting FCS schools every year for a home game I see this trend continuing as well, long after Louis Orr is gone from Bowling Green
