FieldTurf in the Field House yet?
FieldTurf in the Field House yet?
Does anyone know if the FieldTurf had been put in to the Field House yet? I remember this being talked about years ago shortly after we put it in at the stadium but it never happened. But if I remember correctly, it was supposed to be finally going in this summer in the article I read dealing with Clawson's contract extension. Anyone have any info?

It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

No more electric shock touching the metal doors after leaving the turf room!Flipper wrote:Saw something about that on twitter....it was installed last week
Anybody who's played more than once on the field house turf knows exactly what I'm talking about. The static charge was enough to get balloons to stick to you.

Never had that problem back in the day when the house was new. Of course, I was pretty well grounded for my age despite my insulated upbringing. I mention nothing of my rubber soul [sic].bgsufalcon24 wrote:No more electric shock touching the metal doors after leaving the turf room!Flipper wrote:Saw something about that on twitter....it was installed last week

On a serious note, I'm glad they got rid of that carpet. It made for easy and painful turf toe.
