Post by jpfalcon09 »

BG receiving 9 votes in the AP poll, one vote in the Coaches vote. NIU and BG only MAC teams to receive votes.

I honestly don't remember when we were last ranked that high...2005 maybe?

Don't think we were ever ranked in 05 unless it was preseason. Really wasn't a very good season.

For the hell of it, I dug into the Blade archives on google...in theAP preseason poll we were 30th with 57 votes. I would guess that was our last appearance after Whisky and Boise trucked us eary in the year.

I think that's the 3rd publication that had the score, 34-6. Weird.

That's how good our defense is...we take points off the board after the game has been played.

Noticed that too. Schlabach even listed "scoring six points against Bowling Green" as a candidate for his Bottom 10. I submit him not even fact-checking his own article as a candidate for the Bottom 10.
