IU game

Post by TG1996 »

Who has their tickets already for the Indiana game?

I'm dragging my feet on getting tickets and will probably just go the StubHub route, but wanted to sit as close to Fellow Falcons as possible. What section are they putting BG fans in?

If you have 4 or more people going I would call the IU ticket office.

Through BG our tickets would have been $40 each. Through IU office with the 'group' rate, it was $20 each with a free voucher for pop & hot dog.

Those tickets are section 110.

I have been in Alabama too long as the word "pop" now sounds weird to me :(

Would love to make it to this game but just won't be able to make it happen.

I did see that. Also saw an ad in a flyer here in Indy that gives the $20 rate if you mention "REACH" when you call the IU ticket office. Doesn't say anything about needing a group, the IU website called it "four or more." Might go that route as well and save some cash to spend directly to BG at homecoming next month.

Speaking of the IU, anyone tailgating for this game?

We should have a decent group of us out there by 8 or 9am. We would love to park close to some other BG fans.

I'll be making the trip down for this game since it's only about 3.5 hours from me. My friends and I were planning on going the StubHub route as well, but the $20 deal doesn't sound too awful

Here is link to the deal. You are better off calling though..

If you plan to park near the stadium, I would recommend buying parking passes from the ticket office too. It is $10 pre-sale, $20 day of game.

Good call on the parking passes. Not sure what our tailgate plans are. The Indy Alumni group as a bunch of people going, but I think they're doing the Alumni Tent. My wife and I will probably just grab a sixer and some sandwiches and find some brown and orange friends here or there.

Section 1 will be rocking. Mostly wearing orange, but some red. What can I say,...my clan is somewhat divided on this one. I have to pick my battles. ; )

If you mention "DAKICH" they mumble something and hang up on you.

They love Dakich at IU. Saved the heart of their program. He's a hero there and i think back fondly to our best coach in the last five decades.

This is the best football team they have had in years, but beatable!

They are down 2 scores to Navy. Should be a really good game next week.

If our defense from Tulsa and the second half vs. Kent shows up, I don't know that it will be a really good game at all.

Loved to see our defense come out and shut Kent down in the second half. The track meet first half had me a more than a little nervous for next week.

Can't wait for Saturday!!!
