BG-Kent Betting Line
The game opened as BG -2.5 and its now at BG -7.5. Is this based on Archer not expecting to play or being limited? That's a pretty big swing mid-week.

Likely based upon how both teams performed in Week 1, which obviously is a small sample size. The betting program I use has Archer listed as probable so people know he's likely playing.Rollo83 wrote:The game opened as BG -2.5 and its now at BG -7.5. A healthy or unhealthy Archer could make 14+ points difference IMO. Our defense can be great but they're still vulnerable on the edge.

Archer, nicknamed Atom Ant by someone on this site, killed us last year. Way too much speed for our guys. I think I saw where he was one of the fastest HS track performers in the state of Fla a few years back.

This is two games in a row. Week 1, Tulsa opened -3.5 and ended with BG -3.5 or 4.5. It could be Archer. Or it could be that people think BG is a good team. Or it could be both.

I see that Adjei-Barimah is listed as questionable for an undisclosed reason for Saturday, anyone know what's going on there?
EDIT: Archer also did not practice yesterday.

Re: BG-Kent Betting Line
He fell hard on that one play on the sideline where he went up high to make a play on the ball and almost picked it. I don't think he returned to the game after it. My guess is a lower back or tailbone injury. As for Archer, the lone fact he is on their roster this year simply has me worried. He single-handedly KILLED us last year.jpfalcon09 wrote:I see that Adjei-Barimah is listed as questionable for an undisclosed reason for Saturday, anyone know what's going on there?

GO BG!!!
