You always like the announcers when you are winning. Reghi is a tool...he needs to realize you don't have to talk the entire time. A little silence helps every now and then. My ears hurt. Go Falcons!
They are far better than the guys who always calls the refs stripers, the line the orange crush or the line the fatty sweaty guys.
How many times does Reghi have to tell us Houston came from Ohio State? I am up to four so far by my count. Ok, we get it.
Doesn't matter, they're better than just about everyone else who has covered a BG game for espn in my memory.
Color analyst says there is not a #65 for BG on the field during penalty call by the ref. I guess Chief is kind of hard to notice all game.

No matter how much you get paid, or how much you're on tv, or how good you do you're job, you still make mistakes.

Alma Mater hear us,
As we praise thy name
Make us worthy sons and daughters
Adding to thy fame.

Time will treat you kindly
Years from now you'll be
Ever dearer in our hearts,
Our University.

From your halls of ivy
To the campus scene,
Chimes ring out with gladness
From our dear Bowling Green.

When all is just a mem'ry
Of the by-gone days,
Hear our hymn dear Alma Mater
As thy name we praise.

I'll be the first to admit when I am wrong. I said after last week's game that I liked what Johnson brought to the table but wasn't convinced yet he was our long term answer at QB.

I now want to offically retract the second half of that statement!

What a performance today. He seems to have that "it" factor that could carry this team quite a ways this season. He's unbelieveably accurate from 20 yards in and doesn't make bad decisions...everything Schiltz is not.

I still cringe watching him wind up to throw deep, but that's OK. He moves the chains and that's what's important. If I was a defensive coordinator game-planning against him, I would play the receivers tight and make him beat me over the top...because he's too efficient to play off the receivers.

I give Clawson a ton of credit for the decision to switch QBs and I respect the way he's handled it. Give your three year starting senior the start in game one and then let Johnson squelch any QB controversy with this play. It couldn't have played out any better.

This shoudl be a fun season of Falcon football.

Nice game offensively. Nice 2nd half for the defense. IU's offense might be a challenge next week. Let's hope the D gets a few stops and the O keeps eating clock and scoring.

Great second half.

Who cares what his wind up looks like, remember Omar? It's the result that matters, and yes, Johnson can throw a deep ball and a long cross field throw just fine!

But what is up with our punter? He can't seem to find even the slightest bit of consistency.

Johnson was impressive...he doesn't have the most powerful arm and he winds it up a bit, but he gets the ball there and that is what counts. He doesn't have to go deep downfield a ton...just here and there will keep the safeties and LB's back a bit and make his running even more effective.

One advantage he has over Schilz as a passer is that he doesn't lock onto a receiver as often. You can have the strongest arm in the world, but if the defense knows where it's going that doesn't matter.
