I'm dragging my feet on getting tickets and will probably just go the StubHub route, but wanted to sit as close to Fellow Falcons as possible. What section are they putting BG fans in?

We have not ruled out going to the game. Probably will decide later in the week. I found out they open the RV/bus lots Friday night, so the RV is an option for us.

Since it's a Big Can't Count school, check on the cost to park there. It might be pretty hefty and full of IU campers that regularly stake out their spots if you're not there when they open. Good luck if you decide to go! Doubt if we will go, but you never know.

Ended up with a couple seats in Section 5 off StubHub ($15 ea. plus the typical mayhem) and went for the alumni tailgate tent. Just nice to have all that taken care of when we pull up.

Looking forward to a really happy week at work next week. GO BG! :)

I don't think IU can slow down the BG offense the way we're rolling. Kent State still has a pretty solid D and we put up almost 600 yards on them. IU also gave up 35 pts to Indiana State in their opener. Is the IU offense potent? Absolutely. I'm confident our secondary and the whole D unit is up to the challenge. Coach Elko will have them ready.

Indiana is a sweet campus IMO. For those of you also going, check it out if you have time. I love the main section campus, it has a section of woods with walkways running through it with the stone flagship buildings - very beautiful. I also like how the campus flows to the student area which then flows into town. IU recently renovated and expanded their football stadium Memorial Stadium and it's very nice. They did a really nice job with it. Check out their basketball arena Assembly Hall which is right next door. Place is like a theatre for hoops. I bet about 85% of the seating capacity is on the sidelines and they rise way, way up. Love it. The also built a new baseball stadium which is very nice and have a nice soccer facility (IU is a soccer power as well). I stayed at the Memorial Union hotel when I was there last and could walk to everything.

That is half of what I expected. I'm glad you're going! Doubt if we will, given all that's been going on with us lately, but we'll be watching for sure!

High. Noon game, BG will probably only bring a few hundred, IU coming off a loss.

I've spent some significant time in Bloomington, but not when classes have been in full. It will be interesting to see what this town is like when it's busy. The town is very nice when classes are out with pleanty of sites to see in the area. Brown County is particularly nice. The campus is beautiful, and there are lot's of interestly places to eat around this smallish town. We'll be there all weekend; staying at our secret hide-away.

I just hope we can emerge from this game healthy. Of course you'd like to win, but the conference games are the games that should be the primary focus. Tulsa was important because it was the first game, but beyond that I've moved past non-conference games as a barometer of success or failure for this program.

Winning would help with overall confidence, bowl eligibility and if we were ever to run the table and get into the BCS a la Northern. We're plenty confident, should get at least 5 other wins elsewhere on the schedule and shouldn't even be thinking about the BCS at this stage of the season anyway.

I think we will have a pretty nice BG crowd. There are two busses of Falcon Fanatics coming again, from what I hear. =D>

Ahhh...there is only ONE FALCON FANATIC! LOL. They were great at Kent State! We took over half the home side.
