Whoever is calling the plays today is doing a horrid job. Nothing but deep passes and that fourth down play was absolutely stupid. Why put your QB deep in the backfield just to run him? Dumb. Dumb. Dumb.

BG has had multiple chances to widen this lead but has shot itself in the foot countless times, not taking advantage of absolutely stellar play by the defense.

I loved going for it on 4th down but I think you MUST have Houston on the field in all short yardage situations. You may elect to go with a QB draw or something else, but why take it out of the defense's mind?

It's been a pretty sloppy game all around. I disagree that the defense has been stellar. They've been stellar inside the 10 but outside that range they're getting gashed pretty good for a lotta yardage. Hopefully they figure out a way to cover these WRs from IU....

We need some points to answer that long TD run too...

We've missed on way too many opportunities in this first half. Not a good sign.

As for the shots deep...those are the QBs reads...I think he's not seeing anything underneath so he is just chucking it.

With IU's struggles last week I'd like to see us run a little more option.

Defense has been fortunate, definitely not stellar.

The defense has made enough stops to win..the offense has to pick it up.

Whoa... Jerry Kill had a seizure on the sidelines at Minnesota just before the half...no word on his condition.

John Wagner tweeted that he was still having seizures as he was being taken off the field.

Western Illinois up 6-0 on Gophers. This has happened a couple of times before. Wonder how long they can allow that to happen...either Minnesota or his doctors.

Six plays over 20 yards for IU...giving up way too many big plays. Can't get off the field on third down. Offense isn't helping but defense looks shaky. IU could have 35 points on the board easy...
