Why are they running through the right side of our defense like nobody is there?

I have no "biggest" concern. We've been flat out manhandled in every facet of this game and that is VERY disappointing.

I know IU is better than most give them credit for, but I expected us to play a lot better than this.

Offense has looked like 2011-12. Stalling inside the 30. The defense looks about the way they usually do when going against better talent :(

WOW...what a let down.
QB play terrible
receivers can't make big plays
terrible mental mistakes
Not establishing a run game early.
Coaching questionable at best.
What happened?
Over all very very disappointing.

Blowout time.

BG has its chances in this game to keep up, but kept killing themselves with penalties. The roughing the punter penalty was the first, and then they've had something like three or four that have killed drives since. No excuses for that.

That said, IU has better athletes on offense than BG does on defense and it shows. This IU passing attack was what I was most concerned about coming in and it hasn't disappointed. I didn't think IU would be able to run as successfully as they have, but they've got some speed and have shredded BG.

Overall, a disappointing game, but not totally surprising.

Nothing you can do against a team with better athletes than you. Offense should be able to score on this defense with some ease.

I gave us about a 40% chance to win but I sure as heck didn't think the offense would only score 3. I knew their offense would move on us quite easily but I figured we would have some type of answer.

Humbling game, suddenly some easy wins don't look so easy.

BG has a good MAC defense. We have not stopped any really good offense yet in the last several years. I think IU will light up a lot of B10 teams offensively this year. However, our inability to score points against their D is a concern.

I thought it was odd how much cushion our DBs are giving their receivers ...

I knew IU would put up points on us. Their offense is damned good, and they'll put up a lot of points in Big10 play as well.

Our offense just does NOT look good today at all. Early on we were chucking it deep WAY too often rather than trying to take what the defense gave us. We never really attempted to run on them early, which I was kind of surprised by.

Throw in some real boneheaded penalties, missed FGs, and some dropped passes and it makes for a real long day.

This is awful. We don't look good at all. Feels like we are d2 and finally playing a d1 team are getting run.
