Murray State Tailgate/Akron Tailgate

First off, it was great to see all the usual suspects in BG this past weekend! Had a blast with Major and the Minors, Freak and Freakling2, Marta, Rick, '61, Brother of '61, Coach Karl with the Guest Appearance and Noah who is far too tall, hammb and whoever I am forgetting! Had a blast running around the field after the game with everyone, tossing the football around...Turned out to be a great day with great food and great people!

Now, let's do it even better this week! I should be rolling in with the wife and couple buddies around 9:30 or so to start cooking breakfast. Any requests? I'll get some eggs and bacon and will gladly man the grill/griddle. We're going to hit Meijer on our way into town so if you think of anything, just let me know!

As for lunch, I think hammb should bring out the Bacon Explosion but I understand if time restraints prevent that from happening. I'm sure there will be plenty of stuff to go around and I can't wait to see all of you that can make it again!

MAYBE I can get a bacon explosion prepped for homecoming, but unfortunately I'm not going to make it out this week.

I'll be at homecoming for sure, but I'm also running the 5K so I don't know what I"ll plan exactly. I was thinking of taking the Kettle out and doing some beer can chickens, but could maybe work a bacon explosion as well. But that's not until homecoming, so we've got time. I'll sadly have to back out of this thread...

We are out for this weekend. Hockey evaluations for 2 of the Minor Falcons.

It was a great weekend and tailgate. We ended up staying in the lot until the conclusion of the Browns game on Sunday.

Last week was an AWESOME tailgate!!! I hope we can roll outta Akron no later than 7:30. Bringing my bud, Scott, who hasn't been to a BG game since whenever. If anyone has an extra ticket, cool. If not, no biggie. IF we can leave by 7:30, puts us in the lot by 9:45.

----> Change of plans! We're not bringing the camper out this weekend. We'll tailgate like usual, but out of our car. We are planning on bringing our BG tent out, along with tables and chairs and food! So...if you get there before us, then PLEASE save us a parking space!!
