Anyone from the board going?

My wife and I will be there. Probably going stay in Columbus, MS as the only rooms left in Starkville are in a flea bag hotel.

Hopefully you will see a BG victory - Good Luck. Coach doesn't have a win over a big non conference team yet as far as I know.

If we go into the game 5-1, I will be good with whatever happens. Don't expect much with the way we have performed against BCS foes but you never know.

I am trying to get that weekend off work so I can go to the game! I was in starkville (or stark-vegas as they call it down there)in april for 2 weeks for work. I loved it (even looked for jobs there) Lots of local restaurants that are very good. Me and my co-workers tried the local places instead of the chain restaurants. Columbus isn't that far at all, flew in and out of the airport in columbus, ms (talk about a small airport!)
Anyone that is going and wants suggestions I'll try to list off some of the best restaurants in my opinion.
Go Falcons!

If anyone going likes BBQ (I know, who doesn't?!) make sure and go to the Little Dooey. Don't let the exterior of the building (kinda looks more like a shack that restaurant) or it's proximity to a cemetary scare you away. Damn good eats for cheap! I first found out about the place on Todd Blackledge's Taste of the Town clip during an ESPN broadcast of an MSU game years ago and stopped in last year when I was there. Ate dinner there the night I got in to Starkville and went right back the next day for lunch too.
GO BG!!!

Bump.

Watching MSU now. They look pretty good offensively against LSU so far. This big mobile QB scares me. They are suppose to be alternating QBs.

I saw them take apart Troy the other week, 62-7. I watched it thinking it would be a good preview of BG's game with them. I hope not.

LSU blew it open in the 2nd half but it was a really good game in the first half. We'll need to capitalize on mistakes early and we certainly can't come out lethargic on offense. Had we done that at Indiana I think that game would've been much closer.

I honestly don't think BG can win this game even if the offense decides to show up. Miss St. will do the same thing that Indiana did, and that's load up big pass plays to soften up the run D. Couple that with the azz-kicking they got Saturday by LSU and its gonna be one salty football team. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't expect it to be close.

We hung with Flordia for 3+ quarters with last year's team. Anything is possible!

Well, according to USA Today, we're 20 spots better than MSU and only slightly worse than Texas.

With all due respect to USA Today and the impossible task of accurately ranking all 125 teams, Indiana is 10 spots below us on that list and we lost to them by 32. If we're truly 20 teams better that MSU, we'd probably be favored in the game, even on the road. I doubt MSU fans would agree with that.

Having said that (Curb fans), we're 5-1 and Pretty, pretty good. Go Falcons!

We can't come out slow offensively. We did against IU and the defense bended as long as they could. Sane thing last year at Va Tech. This isn't a good team by SEC standards but I would be surprised if they don't do what they want offensively in the way IU did once they feel out our defensive weaknesses.
