It'd take another major donation to finance a new ice arena... Frankly, I'd rather see them renovate what we have further, and invest in making the structure sound than build anew. Watching the fog rising off the ice in the third on Saturday just felt old school to me!

Been saying that for years.

Now, a nice video board above the entrance to the skate shop with a bar and food prep area directly behind it and "club level" seating/tables on either side could be a very welcome addition. Charge a premium, obviously, of somehwere in the $40-$50 dollar a seat range and you have a very viable option. There's probably enough room to make 4 actual luxury boxes, but I think a more open design would be better.

Puddles on restroom floors and 2 concession stands at one end of the arena doesn't cut it. Want to be the Wrigley Field of hockey arenas then some work needs to be done. The seating bowl size and sight lines are great and should have been used for the Stroh. Many other things to fix to keep fans coming back as the program rebounds.

feisty team, good ice, loud & proud student section...personally, don't need much else.
oh yeah, and decent restrooms.
and a respectable sound system with good lighting. the old sound system was useless, and the lousy ice was a disgrace. thankfully, those dark days are a fading memory now.

concessions and marketing events don't mean much to me, but I get that some folks want those things. ice-box seating, meh.
next thing on my list would be a real scoreboard upgrade.
