Was at the game last night so here's my take.....as mentioned, the Frosh we're spending a lot of time in the box...not good! Burke was a stud. I really like his poise in between the pipes and will certainly continue to get more confident and even better. We had very little offensive pressure from half way thru the 3rd period thru the OT. It was apparent that Carp, Mingo and Tate were really missed....It Will be interesting to see how we respond tonight. This Union team is strong but can be beat if we go out and work hard and play smart team hockey. I've always said that we need more quality and quantity shot on goals to create opportunities overall...same will be true again tonight. Anyway it was great being on hand at Unions barn and Ill be there tonight....Oh, and the ECAC officials were horrible...missed at least two blatant penalties on Union....

Through radio tonight isn't much better..........
Live feed was fuzzy, but still got to watch it. Radio was having technical difficulties so had to broadcast over a phone line, which was why it sounded lousy. Just wish we could have the radio feed and the video feed match up. Their announcers suck. Constant chatter about the Union players instead of calling the play by play, barely mentioning the BG players by name.

GO FALCONS!!
BEAT UNION!!

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Watching BOTH the hockey feed (really bad at first) and the football game (two TVs set up). Between the screen constantly pixelizing and the crappy camera work (just follow puck and stop jerking it around) glad we didn't pay much for the feed. ](*,) I tweeted about it and they fixed it, so it's not pixalizing like it was at the beginning of the game. Now they need to get a decent camera guy!

I'm beginning to wonder how many of these are actual "penalties," and how many are "this is the ECAC."

I'm not one to believe that penalties/powerplays should be equal, but a 13-3 advantage right now is getting ridiculous.

Right, but it is hard to tell over the radio though. It is ridiculous at how many penalties we have gotten.

Spend all your time killing penalties and you end up with tired legs. We're using our top offensive guys for powerplay, the majority of 5-5, and penalty kill. Get the 3rd and 4th line guys to kill the penalties and the top lines will have a lot more energy. I'm afraid we're just wearing guys out too fast in games like this.
