We'll have our hands full against both OU and UB. I still think the winner of the MAC East is going to be the BG vs OU winner, even though UB is currently ahead of both.

A great team (NIU) has the hope of winning a championship. A bad team (Akron) has the hope of thinking they'll eventually win a championship in due course. A good team (BG) risks descending into the comparatively hopeless morass of reaching the end of a rebuilding process, looking up at the ceiling and seeing 7-8 wins but no championship. As a program are we closer to NIU or closer to Akron?
