Is there even a "Dining Services" now? Doesn't the outsourced company Chartwells handle that now?

Dining Services no longer exists.

Chartwells operates the food services at BGSU.

Ok...why don't we have dining services? :)
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I worked with Dining Services in 2008 on a project and they had expressed concerns of the division being outsourced, which obviously happened. From what I gathered that year, most of it had to do with simply eliminating staff due to the budgetary issues. My guess is the university is saving money by contracting a company like Chartwells than having to hire and pay full and part-time to work within the Dining Services division.

Yes. Big savings.

Also, dining services once ran the concessions. Things, I believe, were actually worse back then, if you can believe that. The only difference was things were cheaper.

I have to say, I am impressed. I can't imagine the previous administration giving a falcon flock what the fans thought. It is a breath of fresh air!
Outstanding to hear that he responded so well and so quickly!! =D>

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
