It's what you make it IMO. I have tailgated all across the SEC and Big Ten and I have just as much fun at a BG game and tailgate as any of those places.

Could they make it better? Of course, but would anyone notice anyway. They'd just bitch about something else.

Not really for 95% of the students on campus. I get that many of you loved your band experience but this is essentiallty like me showing you slides of my vacation to the Grand Canyon. You are viewing through the lens of how great it was for you.
Rather than jumping to conclusions about what I wrote, maybe you should have thought about it in the context in which it was presented.

I wasn't in the band. Nor was I in any drama productions or the men's chorus. I didn't work at the radio station or the newspaper. I wasn't a cheerleader or in SIC-SIC. I wasn't Freddy Falcon.

However, all those things and others are important to creating a campus community which is what I think BGSU should continue to be.

They're the things that make some of us come here 34 years after we graduated to stay connected to our college. They're why we donate money and time when we're able. They are what made it more than four years of textbooks and lectures.

It seems as though it wasn't that for you, and if that's true, then you have my sympathy because you'll never understand what we're saying.

100% true, and I don't think it's true for the vast majority of people who have been there since atleast 1998 (my first year on campus) but probably well earlier. At some point these traditions stopped mattering to alot of people and they weren't as important to the BG experience. I will try to be more empathetic when I consider these things though.
