Big relief when I saw that! Hope there is no lingering effects.
We'll see what lingering effects show up in February. Will definitely be interesting.
Wasn't really thinking that long term. Was thinking more along the lines of headaches this week and him being out for the next series or so, if he ends up being diagnosed with a concussion. Hope that's not the case for Connor!
Oh, I know those effects. I also know hockey players don't forget.
Which UAA player hit him? Was it #39 who was gooning it up both nights?
Yes. I don't believe it was meant to be a dirty hit. He was heading towards the boards and was hooked hard. But the way the guy played the rest of the weekend, along with a few others, it was bound to happen at some point.

no surprise, his reputation preceded this weekend.
article translation...he's a little goon.

"ANCHORAGE — Dylan Hubbs has been called a pest, a rat, an agitator, a dirtbag and a bunch of other stuff that can't be printed."

Chris Kingston even mentioned him when I talked with him between 2nd and 3rd in the lounge. Made a comment about #39 and how he wants to fight all the time, always trying to get an extra punch in. :-D
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
