Big relief when I saw that! Hope there is no lingering effects.

We'll see what lingering effects show up in February. Will definitely be interesting.

Wasn't really thinking that long term. Was thinking more along the lines of headaches this week and him being out for the next series or so, if he ends up being diagnosed with a concussion. Hope that's not the case for Connor!

Oh, I know those effects. I also know hockey players don't forget.

Which UAA player hit him? Was it #39 who was gooning it up both nights?

Yes. I don't believe it was meant to be a dirty hit. He was heading towards the boards and was hooked hard. But the way the guy played the rest of the weekend, along with a few others, it was bound to happen at some point.

Chris Kingston even mentioned him when I talked with him between 2nd and 3rd in the lounge. Made a comment about #39 and how he wants to fight all the time, always trying to get an extra punch in.
