Who do we Root for Tonight in the Other Game?

Post by Rollo83 »

Buffalo or Ohio U?

I know we need to win out and take care of our own business, but humor me...

Buffalo has Toledo next week, then Miami, as well us left at the end of the year..while OU has us and two bottom feeders left.

I feel like I want OU to win so we can take control of the division next week against the Bobcats. Plus, I don't want Buffalo to win out and be sitting waiting on us to come to their place at the end of the year with the division on the line.

But, like I said earlier...just win baby!

We can either root for Buffalo and take OU almost completely out of it, or we can root for OU to bring Buffalo down to 1-loss and even up the score going into the last three games...

I say root for OU to even up the score and give Fuffalo a loss, but I wouldn't be too upset with either outcome.

Great question. It's too bad college football doesn't have ties.

Solich might try to suit up Richie Incognito on the offensive line...

Buffalo is 4-0 in MAC... Finish with Ohio, Toledo, Miami & BG
Ohio is 3-1 in MAC... Finish with Buffalo, BG, Kent & UMass
BG is 3-1 in MAC... Finish with Miami, Ohio, EMU & Buffalo

BG probably has the "easiest" schedule of the 3 teams. The winner of the East should only have 1 loss.

I'm not sure who to root for tonight in the Buffalo/OU game. Lots of injuries?

My ideal scenario... we take care of business the next 3 games and play UB for the MAC East. I want revenge from that '08 game. At home and winning 27-7 in the 4th, we lose the game (and the East) in OT. That one still hurts.

This reminds me of 2002-2004 when it was BG, Toledo and NIU going for the west.

You want Ohio to win tonight, puts lots of pressure on Buffalo next week at Toledo. BG beats Ohio and Toledo beats Buffalo, BG has one loss while OU/UB are stuck with two.

OU...when we win out we'll be the only one loss East team. Then the standings won't show any ties at the top

I am pulling for Buffalo to win. We have lost the last three at home vs Ohio (which is where we play them this year) but have won the last four at Buffalo (which is where we play them). I also feel much more confident with us matching up with UB than I do OU. So go Bulls.
